Even Oprah has regrets

By  Ted Prodromou

I saw an interview with Oprah the other day.

She said she has regrets.

What?

We all have regrets.

Even Oprah.

Oprah said her biggest regret was she didn't take a break after ending her show after 20 years.

She changed her focus from her show to the Oprah Network and other projects.

Looking back, she said she should have taken a year off before jumping into something new.

She earned a well-deserved break and didn't take it.

Today, in the Mastermind Book Club we're discussing The Power of Regret: How Looking Backward Moves Us Forward by Daniel Pink.

In the Mastermind Book Club, Tom Ruwitch and I read a book for you and then discuss it in our group call.

We all have regrets and would love a lot of mulligans in our lives.

The Power of Regret breaks down our regrets and shows us how our regrets are a powerful tool for self-improvement and growth.

Pink combines research in psychology, neuroscience, economics, and biology to demonstrate how understanding and embracing regret can lead to better decision-making, increased performance, and deeper meaning in life.

Join Tom Ruwitch and me as we discuss the book.
